Watch Out For Snakes is 8-bit synthwave from Atlanta geek Matt Baum. Layering NES and Game Boy chip sounds, WOFS creates darkly energetic tracks that pay homage to old video games and 80’s films without taking things too seriously.
What doesn’t kill us… makes us stronger.
You mastered your UPGRADE. Thwarted the shadow organization’s attempt to silence you. Defeated the monstrosities they sent against you. You thought the nightmare was over. You were wrong.
You are the nightmare.
Even as a new threat arrives from the deepest recesses of space to lay waste to your homeworld, the SCARS you carry destabilize, mutating your upgrade beyond all control, pulling apart the life you knew.
But not all is lost. A small team of companions gathers, determined to help you face down the darkness – both within and without.
Can you consume the darkness before it consumes you?
